School-Community Partnerships
A Guide
http://smhp.psych.ucla.edu/pdfdocs/guides/schoolcomm.pdf

This document was developed with three objectives in mind: to enhance understanding of the concept of school-community partnerships; to convey a sense of the state of the art in a way that would underscore directions for advancing the field; to provide some tools for those interested in developing and improving the ways schools and communities work together in the best interests of young people and their families. The entire document is meant to be a toolkit. This material can be drawn upon to develop a variety of resource aids; highlight the concept of school-community partnerships; review the state of the art to underscore directions for advancing the field; and provide tools for those interested in developing and improving the ways schools and communities work together.
