Lincoln, Nebraska wins Demand Treatment Grant from Join Together
http://www.jointogether.org/sa/action/dt/program/partners/city2002/0,2167,,00.html#Lincoln

Lincoln, Nebraska has been selected as one of twenty-nine communities that are Demand Treatment! Partners. Join Together provides these Partners with technical assistance, funding, and leadership development so that each Partner can establish: an effective strategy to increase demand for treatment and a plan to deliver it; leadership and resources needed to implement the strategy; capacity to report substance abuse trends; and a plan to integrate principles of effective treatment throughout the community.  Lincoln has proposed to create a public awareness campaign emphasizing a diverse and comprehensive perspective of treatment and recovery. The lead agency is Lincoln Council on Alcoholism and Drugs and the contact is Deb Sprague who can be reached at dsprague@lcad.org, 402-475-5694
